FFL - 2008-2009 Season "Fearless Forecasts" |
QUARTERBACKS |
Jordan D. (QB/Line) Age: 16 Ht: 5'11 Started off slowly last season, but picked it up with an inspired stretch run. Incredible arm will help him score a lot of points, especially against the erratic defences found in the league. Look for improved numbers all around. Forecast - 29 games, 201 PTDs, 45 RTDs Offensive MVP candidate Comeback Player candidate |
Maciej C. (QB/WR) Age: 24 Ht: 5'11 A fantastic showing at the pivot was marred by a poor defensive showing. He's looking to play more wide receiver this year, so his numbers may drop and rise accordingly. He'll continue to dominate in the fashion department. Forecast - 38 games, 160 PTDs, 80 RTDs Offensive MVP candidate |
Robbie S. (QB/WR) Age: 16 Ht: 6'1 Robbie really came into his own last season, particularly after the implementation of the blitz. Very mobile for the position, his accuracy also got better. He'll also put up decent numbers at wide receiver.
Forecast - 37 games, 210 PTDs, 18 RTDs Offensive MVP candidate |

WIDE RECEIVERS |
Jordan T. (WR/CB) Age: 16 Ht: 5'9 Came out of relative obscurity to absolute dominate. Although he was known for his incredible catching ability, it was his fantastic two way play that made him really stand out. Look for more of the same this year. Forecast - 20 games, 84 RTDs, 20 INTs. Offensive MVP candidate Defensive MVP candidate |
Jacob P. (WR/HB/CB) Age: 16 Ht: 5'8 Jacob has finally arrived. After year's of teasing the league with his talent and speed, the Pole put it together and put up fantastic numbers. He's about as consistent as they come, so his numbers will keep getting better. Forecast - 21 games, 73 RTDs, 14 INTs. Offensive MVP candidate Defensive MVP candidate |
Patrick C. (WR/CB) Age: 16 Ht: 5'9 An elite receiver, Patrick took yet another step to 'hall of famer' status last year with monster numbers. He's very quick and has good hands, so his numbers will stay high, although late season injuries may continue on to this season. Forecast - 38 games, 101 RTDs, 7 INTs Offensive MVP candidate |
Matthew S. (WR/CB) Age: 14 Ht: 5'2 After falling off the face of the earth two seasons ago, Matthew came back with an offensive display that wowed many. His speed isn't what it used to be, but he's still shifty and smart. His numbers will be good. Forecast - 30 games, 88 RTDs, 9 INTs. |
Neil H. (WR/HB/Line) Age: 16 Ht: 6'0 Neil used his wheels to good advantage last year, putting up very good numbers. Versatility is the key to his game; he can play anywhere, and with aplomb. A good team player...when he shows up. Forecast - 30 games, 77 RTDs, 18 sacks. |
Ezra L. (WR/CB/K) Age: 16 Ht: 5'9 His season started off strongly, but he faded greatly. With Ezra, it's either hit or miss; there's no in between. He's due for a breakout, considering his talent, but don't count on it. Rather, he'll put up similar numbers. Forecast - 15 games, 29 RTDs. |

Matthew C. (WR/HB/CB) Age: 16 Ht: 6'0 He used his talent to put up career numbers last year, but once again his appearances were sporadic and few. He's also prone to stretches of distraction. If he shows up for 10 games this year, he's winning the MVP awards. He's that good. Forecast - 7 games, 34 RTDs, 7 INTs. |
Cole H. (WR/Line) Age: 14 Ht: 5'8 He only played in 1 game last year, and it was the biggest one. He didn't look out of place either, which bodes well for the upcoming year. He can fill in anywhere, much like a poor man's version of Neil. Forecast - 12 games, 27 RTDs, 7 sacks. Rookie of the Year candidate |
James M. (WR/Line) Age: 16 Ht: 5'10 James doesn't like football, and he makes it well known. The league's "jerk" is not a bad player. In fact, he's about as consistent as they come. Count for James to play about 10 games and to put up 20 touchdowns. Forecast - 11 games, 22 RTDs, 6 sacks. |
Alex Jarzy (WR/Line/CB) Age: 16 Ht: 5'8 A fast player with great agility and soft hands, Jarzy is coming into his first FFL season in 2008. He's got a team-oriented attitude, but he's also selfish enough to put up serious points anywhere he's placed. A definite keeper. Forecast - 18 games, 34 RTDs, 12 sacks Rookie of the Year candidate |
Josh B. (WR/CB) Age: 16 Ht: 5'0 A smallish player with unparalled speed, Josh gets all of his points by either out running or out deking opponents. His only problem; his appearances are lacking, so he'll never put up league leading numbers. This year won't be any different. Forecast - 7 games, 20 RTDs, 4 INTs |
Ben B. (WR/CB) Age: 19 Ht: 5'7 Unlike his brother Josh, Ben doesn't run around opponents; he runs through them. However, like his brother, his appearances are sporadic and few in number. He'll put up similar numbers again this year. Forecast - 3 games, 8 RTDs |
Graham H. (WR/CB) Age: 17 Ht: 5'11 An incredibly talkative player, Graham offers little in terms of statistical value anymore. What he does bring are some funny moments, and a few incredible runs that have you wondering; why doesn't he just shutup and play? Forecast - 5 games, 2 RTDs. |
Johnny D.S (WR/Line/CB) Age: 16 Ht: 5'11 Incredibly agile and fast, Johnny uses his shiftiness to score. Or at least, that's what he did three years ago. Since his breakout rookie year, he's done bubkus. If he shakes his addiction to video games, he'll be good again. Forecast - 6 games, 9 RTDs, 2 sacks. |
