2008-09
Teams:
Robbie, Luke, Patrick, Thomas, Alex Jarzy, Jack, and Jordan T. vs. Maciej, Peter, Josh, Taylor, James, and Matthew S.
Score - a 9-8 victory for Rob's purps.

On a beautiful sunny Monday afternoon, the purps edged out the reds, 9-8.
"It was going on all day today," Robbie said.  "We had the sun against them.  We paid him off, sweetly."
In truth, the sun was not paid off, but rather Rob's purps took to the side of the field that did not have the sun in its receivers eyes.
The purps receivers took advantage, with Patrick and Jordan T. having banner days.
"We played to our strengths," Patrick said.  "We (me and Tingle) are two wild and crazy guys, who have sex with lots of womans."
The reds did put a decent battle, with Peter and Maciej leading the way with good scoring and awesome defense.
However, the purps were too strong on this day, with the game ending on a run by Qb Robbie, much to the dismay of a confused trio of Maciej, James and Matthew S.
Naturally, James had this to say:
"I thought you were supposed to get him!"

Bogus moment - It was bad enough when Peter fell in a mud puddle.  It was even worse when Luke dragged him across it, further damaging Peter's pants and shirt.

Offensive P.O.G - Patrick - dominance "of old."
Defensive P.O.G - Peter - kept Robbie honest all day long.
Spec Teams P.O.G - James - incredible blocking upfield.

Ratings
Robbie - 9; He's back folks.  Used the QB run to its full extent all game long.
Maciej - 8; Still good, not picked, but didn't have the killer instinct in the end.
Patrick - 9.5; About as good as you can expect from a receiver.  4 tds.
Taylor - 8; Snaps were excellent, as were his runs over the top.
James - 8.5; He looks to finally have found his 2003-04 form.  Confident and dangerous.
Peter - 9; He's playing at MVP form, but his teams can't back him up.
Thomas - 8; Ran blocks, snapped the ball, pushed linemen to the side, excellent.
Alex Jarzy - 8; A bit of an off day can be expected, as he's only a rook.  Still, fantastic.
Jordan T. - 8; Faded down the stretch after a torrid start, but still a game-breaker.
Jack - 7; Was only in the game for a short bit, but did have positive impact.
Josh - 8.5; If he ever puts it together for a long stretch, he'll win major awards.
Luke - 7.5; Powerful on the line, including a couple of ridiculous sacks.
Matthew S. - 8; Came in for a few minutes, and had a great run at the pivot position.
