Teams: Owen, Alex, Maciej, Matthew S., Jacob, Jordan and Moyra vs. Peter, Patrick, Robbie, Tommy, Ezra, Neil and Graham. Score: A 9-8 win for Owen's maroons. Game Rating (out of 10): 9 - Fast paced. Notable absentees: Danielle, Matthew C., Johnny, David, Conal. Offensive Player of the Game: Maciej. High passing percentage. Defensive Player of the Game: Peter. Shut down Jake and Alex. Special Teams Player of the Game: Peter. Textbook blocking. Pitch and Weather: Another early start, but alas, the Rabby dinner was approached at 6. Dry field, two guys playing baseball in between plays. Summary: Fast paced game Thursday night. Marked the return from exile of the Captain, as well as displaying vintage performances from Peter and Patrick. Nevertheless, Owen's reds got unexpected offensive contribution from Moyra, whose 2 TDs came at crucial times. A hot looking Megan walked by, as Maciej non-chalantly waved with a tone of minor dismissal. The game was ended by the aforementioned, on a beautiful pass from bouldering Jordan. Bogus Moment of the Day - Maciej's bumbling of the hat. Pat knocked it off, Rob deflected it, Maciej knocked it around with his own hand until it landed on...Owen. Wierd bees, let me tell ya.
