Robbie, Maciej, Thomas, Peter, Matthew S. and Jacob versus Jordan D., Neil, Patrick, Cole, Jordan T., Josh, Taylor

Final Score 9-8 edge out for the blues.

Summary:

In a Tuesday afternoon game, the blues squeaked past the blues, 9-8 thanks in large part to a well rounded offensive performance from all of their players.
"We had our team going on cylinders," wide-receiver Patrick said.  "I caught the ball early, then Josh, then Tingle, it was like dynamite."
Despite the offensive dominance from the blues, the game was on the exact opposite spectrum for the reds.
5 interceptions, 8 sacks, and countless Hands of Toms littered an efficient performance from the reds in a losing cause.
"We played well," team captain and fashionista Maciej said.  "It's all about the team effort.  Sometimes you lose, sometimes you win.  I'll take a loss, considering the heart we played with."
All 5 interceptions came from the Soegtrop brothers, with Robbie piling up 3.
The game ended on a fantastic play from blues QB Jordan D.  Although he struggled with his accuracy all game long, his game winning pump fake, no look TD toss to Patrick was stuff of legends.
"What can I say, you caught me on a good day," the Italian beamed.

Bogus moment of the game Peter going into the corner puddle, moments after Maciej's cry of warning.

Offensive Player of the Game - Robbie - When he's allowed to run, he's amazing.
Defensive Player of the Game - Patrick - Starting to round out his game.
Special Teams Player of the Game - Neil - First one to attack opponents on kickoffs.

Player Ratings:

Robbie 10; You can't ask for a more efficient performance from your pivot.
Patrick 10; Numbers good, but defensive work on Maciej was stellar.
Thomas 7; Did the small things well, making up for a few wonky snaps.
Matthew S. 9; Defensively he gambles, and the gambles paid off in spades today.
Neil 8; Did the dirty work on the line.  A solid team player, and unheralded.
Peter 10; Yeoman's work on the line, plus arguably the bravest soul in the world.
Taylor 6; Limited time, left with an injury.
Cole 6; He's got a lot of raw talent, but he hasn't harnessed it as of yet.
Jordan T. - 8; Quiet for the most part, but played a good secondary role.
Josh - 7.5; A few good catches made up for a rather bland performance.
Jacob - 8.5; Struggled early when running deep patterns.  Excellent after adjustments.
Maciej - 9; Carried the offensive load, as he became Rob's go-to receiver.
Jordan D. - 8; Struggled, but his awareness and arm shone through at the end.
