2008-09
Maciej, Peter, Patrick, Neil, Jacob, Taylor and Jack versus Robbie, Jordan T., Thomas, Josh, Jordan D., Luke and Jarzy.

Final Score 8-4 victory for the reds.

Summary:

On a frosty Tuesday night, the reds defeated the blues easily 8-4.
"It was cold, but our game was hot," tackle Taylor H. said.
The reds got off to a fantastic start, thanks to a couple of great snags by Patrick and Neil in the end-zones.
With Maciej outdueling blues QB tandem Jordan D. and Robbie, the score was never really close.
"Did you see my throws, hoss?" Maciej asked reporters after the game.  "Those were legendary."
The reds receivers were spotless as well, with only a few mistakes.  On the other side of the coin, blues receivers couldn't catch the most basic of catches.
"What can I say," lineman Thomas said.  "They had their games out of the basket.  If they had brought their basket, who knows how it would've turned out."
Fittingly, the game ended on a Jordan D. drop near the end-zone.

Bogus moment of the game "Fuck immigrants."  Quote of the year.

Offensive Player of the Game - Maciej - the throws were wild but effective.
Defensive Player of the Game - Peter - kept piling up the sacks on blues QB's.
Special Teams Player of the Game - Neil - got down the field with aplomb.

Player Ratings:

Robbie 6; Struggled to get anything going against a potent pass-rush.
Patrick 9; Continues to build up points and defensive stops.  Solid all-around play.
Thomas 6; Struggled to keep Peter in line, but his pass rush was good.
Neil 8.5; He should always be on Maciej's team; they simply have solid chemistry.
Peter 10; Played every position on the field (outside of pivot) and thrived.
Jordan T. - 7.5; Probably the best player on a rather disappointing blue squad.
Jacob - 8; Kept his catch total up, and became a solid out-option for Maciej.
Maciej - 9.5; Outdueled his QB counterparts by a mile and three quarters.
Jordan D. - 7.5; Struggled at pivot again, but his kickoff touchdown was legendary.
Luke - 6; Did his job relatively well, but seemed to be, um, let's say "somber."
Alex Jarzy - 5; He's much more talented than what he's been showing lately.
Josh - 7; Absolutely shutdown by Patrick.  Defensively did a solid job on his assignments.
Jack - 7; Played a good secondary pass-rush, and ran the gauntlet at receiver.
Taylor - 8; Peeled off the line with excellent awareness.  Gaining confidence.
