Game Recap - FHL - May 20, 2008

Participants -
Team 1 - Maciej, Neil, James, Cole - won 7 games
Team 2 - Jordan D., Jordan T., Alex - won 7 games
Team 3 - Josh, Patrick, Dylan, Peter - won 4 games
Goalies - Ezra, Taylor
Played at - Gareena, home of the ever receding dirt pile.
Offensive Player of the Game - Jordan T. - all over the place.
Defensive Player of the Game - Patrick - okay, which was better than most.
Best Shotblock/Save - Ezra, reaching behind his shoulder to swap away a ball that seemed to freeze in midair ove the crease.  Stuff of legends.
Best Goal - A three way effort from Maciej, James and Cole.  Maciej picked up a rebound from his goalie Ezra and fired it up the rink to James.  The one-eyed wonder held the ball, outwaiting the goalie Taylor, flinched to his left and whipped a wicked pass over to a streakin' Cole who had an open net to score on.
Best Goalkeeper - Ezra over Taylor.  Ezra picked his game up, Taylor did not.
Best Deke - Jordan D., around James.  A quick left handed flick and the ball was over James' stick, and James was confused.  Jordan on the other hand, had a two on one break.
Best Pass - Jordan T. to Alex J.  A wicked pass that fell through two defenders sticks and went tape to tape.  Jarzy missed on the shot, but the pass was legends.  Maybe he was admiring it?
Biggest 'Robbie' - Jordan T.  After Alex managed to whip it in front, past Maciej and Taylor, both hugging the near post, Jordan T. had the biggest open net in history.  He missed.  Robbie would be proud.
Biggest 'Neil' - Dylan.  Under the fence.  Go git it.
Best Fashion Sense - Jordan T. - understated effort from Tingle.
Worst Fashion Sense
- Dylan - obviously dressed by a blind monkey.
The James Moment
- Sticks in the middle doesn't always pick fair teams.  Case in point - Tingle, Italian, Alex.
