FHL Recap - Sun., May 14th, 2006

Participants - James, Graham, Patrick, David, Maciej, Robbie and Tommy.
Offensive Player of the Game - Maciej; Sheer class.
Defensive Player of the Game - Patrick; Sheer closs.  I mean class.
Played at: Fareena.
Best Shotblock/Save - Maciej, getting his foot in the way of a Graham shot that the l'unk should have finished cleanly.
Best Goal - Maciej, starting from behind his own net, juking past big Dave, sidestepping a hipcheck in the process, keeping the ball on this backhand and then playing the ball between his bros legs.  This left him all alone in front of the net, where he shelfed it for good measure.  A curse of happiness, one that confused David, followed suit.
Best Goalkeeper - Maciej, who played keeper well enough to keep the l'unk off the scoreboard on numerous occasions.
Best Deke - See "best goal."  In particular the move on Patrick.
Best Pass
- Patrick, finding big Dave in Angelstand territory, but unfortunately the Canadian pugilist missed the net.
Biggest 'Robbie' - James, turning and firing way too quickly and as a result missing an open net.  The Corporal salutes you.
Best Fashion Sense
- David, tentatively clipped cell phone and all.
Worst Fashion Sense
- Robbie.  No need to explain.
Bogus Moment
- David bringing nerf guns to hockey.  Now if that's not wierd, then my name is Crockin' Sock.
Notable Watchers - A few walked by, but no one to shake your dick at.
Ratings (4 lowest, 10 highest) -
Tommy - 7; Put in the effort, but final move was lacking on offense.
Maciej - 10; Remains a class above.  A lot more room with no Jacob around.
Patrick - 9.5; Had his pride rocked by bro, but shook it off to be super solid.
David - 6.5; Should probably keep the right handed stick with him, always.
James - 5; Does not play defence, and today was no exception.
Robbie - 4; Beyond awful.
Graham - 5.5; His mind was already in Quebec.
