Best Shotblock - Alex D., who shot his foot out of nowhere to deny Maciej a sure goal.
Best Goal - Maciej, who stole a poor pass from Tomstick, deked out Alex D. and fired it shelfwise. Pure skillies.
Best Deke - James', who dilligently worked his way past two sticks before firing it into the gaping net.
Best Pass - Maciej to James, a lob pass that the latter could not handle cleanly at first. Had he done so, goal fo' sho.
Biggest Whiff - With no Robbie around, this category was up for grabs. This time it went to the ever goal bound James, who not once or thrice, but at least 7 times missed the wide open net. The most noticeable one being a quickfire wrister that went over the crossbar.
Best Fashion Sense - Patrick, happy to be rid of his jacketlar restraints.
Worst Fashion Sense - Alex D. The vest is so 1996.
Bogus Moment - The poor d on display. On one occasion, James and Maciej watched as Tommy stole the ball, ran up the rink and fired it gently into the net. They just WATCHED!!! Pat Quinn would eat us alive.
Notable Watchers - Two idiots who rode their bikes around, acting all cool and junk. Bah.
Ratings (4 lowest, 10 highest) -
Tommy - 6.5; Out of his element on the day. Maybe it was because he was away from the Fern Hockey Arena, or Fareena, but he just looked jaded.
Alex D. - 8.5; Ran more than he's probably ever going to run in his life. Played both forward and goaltender, but didn't look tired at all.
Maciej - 7.5; Not pidgeons. Not pidgeons at all.
Patrick - 7.5; Must learn when to pass and to make quicker decisions. However, deking is getting better and shot looks pretty good too.
James - 8; Selfish James scored a lot of times. A bunchload. Deking is right up there with the FHL's best, but needs new stick.
