Maciej, Jordan T., Peter, James and Thomas vs. Robbie, Jordan D., Patrick, Taylor and Ezra.
Final Score 14-1 in favor of Mac's reds.
Summary:
In a game that wasn't even remotely close, Mac's reds raped Rob's mustard yellow squad, 14-1, in a cold afternoon game. "Normally, I'd offer them a trade," Maciej said. "But I was angry. I wanted to play hockey, and they wanted football. So I decided to cull the fuck out of the other team, so any ideas of football will forever be forgotten." And "cull the fuck out of them" the reds did. Jumping out to a quick 6-0 lead, the reds never looked back. Down 9-1, mustard yellow QB Robbie suggested that his team follow the "same plan." "What's that, lose?" red defensive specialist and homemade hat wearing James asked. The reds got a very balanced effort, but were led by a resurgent Jordan T. and Peter combo. Known now as nose-blood brothers, the two ran the mustard yellow linemen ragged. "I want to go home," Robbie said after the 14th point was scored, marking the first time the fat-lipped, Argos fan had ever said he wanted to leave a football game. It was that one-sided.
Bogus moment of the game The field. It had a little bit of everything on it. One side was ice, the other was hard mud, some parts were puddles, others were fantastic grass. Oh, and a lunchbox was thrown in there for good measure. Speed racer too, that's a pretty awesome movie tbh.
Offensive Player of the Game - Jordan T. - Once again he was dynamite. Defensive Player of the Game - Peter - kept rattling QB Robbie. Special Teams Player of the Game - James - fired his way past blocks and made stops.
Player Ratings:
Patrick 6; Caught a lot, but was left to rot on a lot of plays. Dropped some easy ones too. Maciej - 9; Did what had to be done. Elusive from tacklers and blocked well. Jordan D. - 5; Caught well, but gained about 3 total yards after the catch. Peter - 10; Plowed his way through anyone the mustard yellows put on the line. Thomas - 8; Played some solid defence, and contributed to a winning cause. Robbie - 4.5; Second straight struggle for ol' pigeon arm. Wasn't too happy with result. Jordan T. - 10; Great in the open field, and used blocks to advantage. On hot streak. James - 9.5; Great on defence, especially near the end of the game. Taylor - 4.5; Run absolutely ragged on the line. Tried, but failed to contain anyone. Ezra - 5; Made a couple of catches, but didn't give yellows the boost they sorely needed. |
