2008-09
Maciej, Jordan D., Taylor, Jacob versus Robbie, Patrick, Neil, Cole. Matthew P. switched on offense.
Final Score 10-9 victory for the greens over the reds.
Summary:
The greens completed an improbable comeback against a floundering red side on Friday night. "How is that even possible?" reds QB Robbie said after the game. "How did we blow a five-point lead?" In fact, the reds got off to a fantastic 5-1 start, thanks to 3 rushing touchdowns by Robbie. The greens started to claw back, capped by a couple of great runs by fullback Jordan D. "I'm ready for another one boys," he said. The game was littered with a couple of nasty spills, thanks to an uneven, icy terrain that had ski-type moguls all over the left side of the field.
Bogus moment of the game Jacob's epic dive to catch a ball left him with a mild concussion and no touchdown.
Offensive Player of the Game - Jordan D. - became a leading option for QB Maciej. Defensive Player of the Game - Jacob - fantastic shutdown on wide receiver Patrick. Special Teams Player of the Game - Robbie - rubble shuffled his way past blocks.
