"Oh man, we played great today," receiver Pat said after the game. "We took it to them like we would take it to them if they had something to take."
The game started off well, with both teams giving good effort on special teams. Four different players scored off the kickoff, with Jordan D. particularly dominating when in possession of the ball.
"Oh gurgle and spit, I was awesome today," Jordan said.
The packed down snow made for tough tackling, highlighted by a Josh dive at the legs of scrambling Robbie.
"Ooomph, there goes my peanut butter," the Wright Avenue Winnie dog-walker said. "I'm not playing football for a year."
The game also had a number of hurtful absences, including Thomas and Jacob, both of whom promised attendance and failed to deliver.
Neither could be reached for comment.
