Teams: Jordan, Peter, Dylan and Patrick vs. Robbie, Maciej, Tommy and Neil.
Score: a 12-8 win for Jordan's pinkish fue squad.
Game Rating (out of 10): 9 - Good movement despite relative blowout.
Notable absentees:  Ezra, James, Alex, Jacob, Josh, Matthew C.
Offensive Player of the Game: Peter.  Shred the defence.
Defensive Player of the Game
: Peter.  Best of a sad, sad bunch.
Special Teams Player of the Game
: Dylan.  Broke through defenders.
Pitch and Weather
: Perfect weather for a game of football.  Lots of snow, the cushiony kind that absorbed even the hardest and painful falls.  Flurries with gusts of wind added to an atmopshere of offensive and defensive hardships.  The only thing that marred the beauty was the dropping of various gloves, usually by Patrick and Maciej.
Summary
: A perfect turnout resulted in a near perfect game.  Although the score was never really in doubt (the fues in utter control), the game did have various high points nonetheless.  Peter had a furious game, destroying players on both ends of the field.  The defence for the most part, was very poorly played.  In fact, Peter was the only player who did not utterly embarass himself on defence.  The QB's blew both hot and cold, with throws being either pinpoint accurate, or disgustingly wide.  Various plays were called by both squads, with some handoffs being perfectly executed and others being destroyed by so called  'football friendly fire.'  The game ended when Jordan, Pat and Dylan ran quite possibly the worst handoff play ever, causing the opponents to raise their hands in the air in exasperation, followed by a solid leaving.
Bogus Moment of the Day
- Although Maciej's tripping of a wide own teammate Tommy was classic, Rob's speech about, "hard times and itchy pants" did little but inspire those around him.  Oh, how words like those ring true.
Player Ratings (out of 10, 4 being the lowest
):
Robbie
- 7; I've said this before and I'll say it again; the guy is just too inconsistent.
Maciej
- 7.5; Caught every pass thrown his way, but Peter shut him down near the end.
Patrick - 8; Doesn't offer much outside of offence, so it's a good day when he scores a lot.
Jordan -
8; Worked hard at all ends again, but was at his best at the pivot position.
Neil - 7; After a blistering performance the week before, Neil had an off day.
Dylan - 8; Played a quiet but extremely effective game.  Did not a thing wrong.
Tommy - 7.5; Was unlucky not to get his second TD of the game.  Good blocking.
Peter - 9.5; Domination.  Responded extremely well after a couple of terrible outings.
