Pitch and Weather: The muddiest field imagineable, despite Rob's claims that it was perfectly okay. Fell on his ass in the mud, so it served him right. Was quite mild and enjoyed pidgeons.
Summary: The first FFL game in nearly a yoo was enjoyed by all. The Canary yellows were led by Pat's offensive explosion for 4 tds and 1 kickoff strike, with Rab'd Yee tossing 9 passing TDs on the night. G-ram's pinks outnumbered the yellows, but still struggled to break away from the pack. Only a late David appearance, after Maciej and Matt were left alone, led to the eventual scoreline of 12-11.
Bogus Moment of the Day - Maciej's spiderman defence was quite possibly the most useless move since the milk takeover of '33.
Player Ratings (out of 10, 4 being the lowest):
Robbie - 7.5; Played well in the first half, but after he got "Blue Jay stomach slammed" by Maciej, he was a lot more quieter. Enjoys pudding on Friday nights, but lo and behold if you offer it to him on Sundays. Lo and quite beholds. 9 passing TDs in total.
Tamara - 8; 3 TDs in her debut; solid stuff. Had a few mahoneys, but meh.
Patrick - 8.5; Started strong, hooked up with Rob on a few solid plays (including a few missile tosses that he somehow managed to grab), but faded down the stretch. Was scared off by Maciej's tight defence. 4 TDs, 1 kickoff TD.
Maciej - 6; Is the pinacle of both good looks and good defence.
Lenny - 8; Has really played well the past few games, as sparse as they have been. Has shown serious offensive potential (3 tonight) but mahoneys a few times too many. To his credit, is not afraid to slap at his chest and add a resounding, "Ma bad."
Matthew Soegtrop - 7; Mini Yee managed 1 TD and a few catches, but had troubles with the much taller Aleksus Crystalgrowth. It's not fair to yoo beans on a Thursday.
Graham - 9.5; Had an incredible game, despite the claims that he wanted to the first negatively rated player ever (-3 was his goal I believe). Had a p-rec 4 TDs and key defensive stops. Has incredibly lame fashion sense, and should hire a stylist ASAP.
Alex D. - 7; Quote of the day goes to Alex: "Don't worry, I'll cover Alex." Brilliant.
Moyra - 6.5; Meh, not all that bad. Wasted the minutes on Lenny's phone.
David - 9; Dav Leevo had a late cameo. 1 catch, 1 TD. Dav Leevo enjoys lightsaber chess.
