Teams: Matthew Soegtrop, Conal, Tommy (later went to other team), Danielle (replaced via James later), and Maciej vs. Owen, Alex D., Dylan, James (later went to other team), Robbie, and Patrick.

Final Score
: 17-16 for Matthew Soegtrop and the rest
Game Rating (out of 10)
: 7 - fast start, slow middle, good finish.
Offensive Player of the Game
: James.  Yup, this is not a typo.  James scored 6 touchdowns, 3 for each side he played on.  Get this: he actually played to his full potential.  That's right, James played well.  Oh, the humanity!  The power of fooba is strong in this one; so if one follows the patterns that he displays, he should be good for a 4 next week!  Here's hoping he breaks trends, cuz the skill is there.
Defensive Player of the Game
: Conal.  What a debut!  Three consecutive interceptions pretty much put the green team to shambles.  Patrick was observed shaking his head in disbelief after the 3rd of said Conal's interceptions.  No news if he actually cried, but sources have claimed that yes, he bawled like a chipmunk with its balls in sizzling grease.  Conal also had a lot of defensive stops, and was very decent on man to man coverage.
Special Teams Player of the Game
: Matthew Soegtrop.  A few tantalizing runs, both against and with the blocking of his teammates.  Had half the field not been covered in ice, he would've scored off the kickoff at least two or three times.
Pitch and Weather
: Almost exactly the same as the previous game.  Ice covered half of Fern Avenue field, the grass was as hard as rock (as was claimed by Owen) and various objects (a plastic spoon for one) lay here and there.  'Twas cold, but not as cold as the game before.  Not too many people complained of frozen hands, though Tommy shook his red hands at the sky and vowed to get even with mother nature when he turned 33.
Summary: The game started off quickly, with Robbie's team coming out with an early 6-1 to lead.  They maintained a lead, usually by 3 points, until Conal took over on the defensive end.  With the 3 aforementioned interceptions, he literally and figuratively turned the game over to the Russians.  That is to say, the game was close once more.  After a sluggish middle, combined with a Danielle's lefting of the field, a Dylan leftage to his home, a superstacular swap wherein Tomward was traded for James, the game (finally) picked up in momentum.  The two teams traded blows until a final Maciej interception put the game in the books.  In between, Tommy hurt his knees yet again, Patrick faceplanted into said Tommy, Robbie tiptoed over some ice and was hauled into the batting cage by Maciej, and James minimized his screamage to random shrills about bogus squirrels.  Conal and Matthew Soegtrop be short.
Bogus Moment of the Day
- A two way tie between Tommy and Patrick's collision and Patrick's attempt at an interception landing in the hands of a shocked but not awed Conal.
Player Ratings (out of 10, 4 being the lowest)
:
Matthew S
- 7.5; had 4 touchdowns, but was not at his offensive best.  Good kick returns.  Had a decent defensive game, causing trouble for Patrick.
James
- 8.5; you wonder why he's called a frustrating player?  One game, he's non existent.  The next, he scores six touchdowns, playing superb D. Robbie - 7.5; 'robobrick' was out in full force today.  10 passing TDs.
Patrick
- 7.5; 4 touchdowns yet again.  Was much more consistent on both ends, but did complain about a lack of passes near the end.
Maciej
- 5; simply could not throw a spiral today.  Was helped by an incredibly effective receiving corps.  Terrible on man to man coverage.
Danielle
- 7; was effective for a short period of time, before leavance.
Conal
- 9; one of the best debuts ever in the FFL.  Excellent display.
Tommy
- 6.5; Several clutch plays, but was burned at times on defence.
Alex D
. - 8; a typically solid display from Alex, something the FFL has come to expect.  3 TDs, 3 picks, and yes, even 3 mahoneys.  3's all around!
Owen - 7; generally very good, however 5 (say what?) mahoneys a shock!
Dylan
- 7.5; Again, incredible offensive display marred by the fact that Dylan cannot or more likely, will not defend in key situations.
