| Game Recap - Sat., Dec. 22, 2007 Llama Glama (4-3-1) 3 - Jordan (3), Neil (0), Tommy (0); Goalie - Taylor Han Solo Experience (3-4-1) 3 - Patrick (1), Robbie (2); Goalie - Maciej Played at - Gareena, home of the leafy (and now slushy) corners. Offensive Player of the Game - Jordan - always finds the seams. Defensive Player of the Game - Patrick - kept the Italian at bay. Best Shotblock/Save - Taylor, a side to side magical save on a stunned Robbie. Best Goal - Jordan, going wide on Pat and firing a shelfer that found...well...the shelf. Best Goalkeeper - Taylor over Maciej. Both goalies had little to do, but T. was the busier. Best Deke - Robbie, undressing a foolish looking Neil. Yee's handles are getting better. Best Pass - Maciej, whipping a pass from his stick to a streakin' Rob, who had a clearcut break. Biggest 'Robbie' - Rob, living up to the name, with a fantastic Robbie over the net. Biggest 'Neil' - Robbie, out of the rink by the benches. Best Fashion Sense - Robbie - he'll always get good marks when he brings the red hat. Worst Fashion Sense - Maciej - he's had better days. Shoes were leaky. James' 'Bogus' Moment - The worst shootout ever. See it here. Ratings (4 lowest, 10 highest) - Jordan - 7; Kept up his captaincy with a firing salvo. Tommy - 10; His first game with his new team. Good, but great for bringing pads. Neil - 7; Solid game, nothing gained, nothing lost. Taylor - 9; Becoming a dominant FHL force; cries of MVP? Patrick - 7; Struggled in the slush more than he probably expected. Robbie - 7; Good work on the corners as per usual. Maciej - 7; A good stand-in goalie, but seriously, HSE needs James. |
