Teams: James, Tommy, David, Graham and Jacob vs. Patrick, Maciej, Robbie, and Alex D. Score: A 5-4 squack of a win for Pat's purps. Game Rating (out of 10): 10 - Most entertaining ever. Notable absentees: Johnny, Danielle, Peter, Matthew Couto, Dylan. Offensive Player of the Game: Robbie. Surpassed Mac in total p touches. Defensive Player of the Game: Tommy. Superb interception, solid overall. Special Teams Player of the Game: James. Got a lot of yards. Pitch and Weather: Blizzard. Snowy, windy, but not cold surprisingly enough. Beautiful game, entire pitch was covered like some sort of pillow. Made for easy (and one might say pleasant) falls. Ask Maciej. Summary: Pat's purple team defeated James' gremambulous greys 5-4 on Thursday night, in what is seen as a bit of revenge for the Chubba bros. Both Maciej (3 tds) and Patrick (1 td, numerous key plays) were instrumental in the purple win, coming a 2 days after both had arguably their worst games of the season. The game was played during blizzard like weather, a magnitude not yet seen this season. The losing greys were lead by Buffalo beard Dave, who again had key passes, in particular to Graham (2 tds). But their efforts were nay for naught, for the game was ended on an Alex D. touchdown, much to the relief of a very tired Maciej. Bogus Moment of the Day - Maciej continuing insistence that "I broke free, damn it, I broke free." He may have done so, but the ball had already been thrown 10 seconds earlier, much to his shagrin. Player Ratings (out of 10, 4 being the lowest):
Robbie - 9; Huge turnaround for rambambulous Rob, who surpassed Maciej in passing touchdowns on Thursday. Had 5 overall, and even played some key defence on Tom. Jacob - 7.5; Had only 1 TD today, but his effort was worthy of a solid rating. Not too happy to be covered by either Maciej or Alex D. Polish bastard. Patrick - 7.5; Faded like a whales vagina in the second half, but was better than on the 13th. Maciej - 8; Spent most of the time being knocked around by Bam Bam Buffalo Dave. David - 8.5; Was burned a few times on the defensive end, but kept his team in the game on the offensive side. The sub-zero glasses he brought were both cool and practical. Graham - 9; Won't give him the desired 10, but he's definitely worth the 9. 2 TDs. Tommy - 7.5; Was invisible until that incredible interception. Then buddy Tom woke up. Alex D. - 7.5; Right before claiming that he "doesn't have a TD yet," he got one. Should do that more often, to test the practicality of that strategy. Solid coverage on Jake. James - 7.5; Starting to regain some of his earlier season form. 1 kickoff TD. |
