The title that I have chose is one of the main reasons why I have decided to take this class. I have read and seen on television many people who have begun start up internet companies. In February of 2000 I was laid of from a company that I had been working for since 1994. Since then I am now working for a company that is deals with Appraisals on Second Mortgages and now is getting starting to to Title Searches as well.@
There are from what I have been able to find in the last six months about ten internet sites that list appraisal companies. If you can not find them their I must use a yellow pages search that dose not give me any detailed information. All of the internet sites for appraisal companies are expensive. They can run as high as
$500 a year plus monthly charges and charges for how many counties you will cover in a state. My goal is to under cut the market. I will only charge $24 a year. That is $2 a month. $24 is an easy check to write. Since an appraisal can run as low as $150 and as high as $800 this idea should work.
