Lesson Plans Available on the Internet

Introduction to water pollution- Students will make their own water source and see the effects of different chemicals: soap and oil.

Water, Water, Everywhere- This lesson shows the effects of different elements on water.

Clean Water- This is a lesson for younger students showing how filters can remove "stuff" from water.

Water Pollution and Conservation- The EPA offers this booklet containing information and a lesson plan.

Aquatic Ecology- This lesson contains water information and interesting activities to teach students about the water they use and the importance of the quality of water.

River Care- This booklet contains six lessons on river pollution including assessing river quality, determine the cause of pollution, and the economic impact of pollution.
