Name - Big Ken Festival - Reading 2001 Band - American HI fI Review - This band was the first live rock band I ever saw. I thought they were amazing! Gary said to me once when he was stoned "Ben, I feel sorry for you. When I watch football in a pub or sommat and my team score and everyone jumps up shouting I get this amasing rush and I bet you dont know what thats like." I told him I didn't. After I saw this band and after there last song 'Flavor of the Week'when everyone went mental I had this rush. Really u guys, I suffer from depression and sometimes wondered if I should end it all. In Reading I found my smile. Score - 10 Out Of 10 Name - Phil Festival - Reading 2001 Band - Supergrass Review - one of the bands overlooked at reading, people forget they've done 3 pritty good albums, infact "in it for the money" is one of brit pops great albums, so i felt they definetly deserved to be watched. only me and steve went to see them out of our lot, i think the others might have been watching unreal small fish or someone. anyroad they where quality listening, playing classics like caught by the fuzz, sun hits the sky, pumpin on your stereo and the best supergrass song in my view richard III, very good and full of great loud indie guitar music. the first time iv seen supergrass and there doing a new album now so hope to see them again soon. fucking brilliant. Score - 9 Out Of 10 Name - Paul Festival - Reading 2001 Band - Reel Big Fish Review - Well what can I say, all the bands i saw put on a good show, but this was only the second time i'd heard real big fish. I have to say I was very impressed. Definately one of the best acts of the Reading festival weekend. Score - 10 Out Of 10 |
