Grading Procedures:

Class work will count one-third of the grade and tests and projects will count two-thirds of the grade.
The RealCare Baby must be carried home for at least one night during this class. This experience will count as a project grade. The grade will be determined as follows: 100 if all of Baby's needs are met. Each neglect counts off one point. Each  shaken baby or abuse counts off 10 points. Removal of the ID bracelet counts off 20 points. Any student who can not carry baby home must complete a three page research paper on Sids or Infant Development.
It is your responsibility to ask for any assignments that are missed due to absence or school sponsored field trip. Remember, that you have the number of days you were absent, plus one to make up the work. All make up work is to be done from 7:30AM to 8:00AM or between the hours of 3:00PM and 4:00PM.
