How can the grave yard scene be considered comic relief?
Grave digger is being wittey, by playing tricks with him as Hamlet has with the court people. This scene is diff. by the past three scene being trajic + by this Scene being all cold + spooky. The grave digger likes to make his ansewer smart ass like.
Was Hamlet in love with Ophelia? Was he responsible for her death?
I dont think that Hamlet even knew what love meant, but apparently not b/c his thoughts of her didnt show while killing her father. It didnt even cross his mind. It didnt say but I think he used her for sex + then knew the strategy of the plan. Kill the dad then kill his daughter. But he was somewhat responsible + somewhat not. She drove herself into insanity + couldn't stop.
Which Hamlet movie did you like the best? Why?
I liked the second just b/c mel gibson was in it & b/c it was a little bite better background on The Movie. I liked that it was in the stone age medieval times & it was in a castle. It was way more comfortable to watch the medieval era than was watch them all in the White house. The first one I was a bite more interested byut I didnt like all the kissing with son-mother.
How does Ophelia react to the death of her father?
She went a tad bite upset insane and revineed her hole looks + she wasnt too happy. She was acting like a mentally illed person in front of Laertes. She screamed when they took the body out of the house + she started to become also depressed. Fortunetly, She killed herself by drowning in the pool. She didnt know if Hamlet still loved her or if he even cared one bite.
What do you think of Gertrude?
I think something happened in her early life with her father b/c in the money movie she is an abdomah beast. She needs alot of attention & the lady needs togets some. SHe is to fond of herself. She didnt get the attention she needs when she was younger so then when she got older she wanted to be practically a prostitude.
Hamlet Essay
In Hamlets time it was different then from regular days. Hamlet lived in the Centuries long time ago. There was no reale honest government back in his day. If someone died, tears whould have been sheded, but lives would go on. No one would get blamed for it. Hamlets time was the medieval era. People faught with swords for pleasure & entertainment. But what Hamlet has taugh us or tell us about suicide was that even in death many don Know about the suffering.
The Scary sides of suicide is not Knowing what is going to happen to you afterwards & never be able to say a word. Going Some where & never returning. Love & marriage is something, only if you found the right person & if you both feel it. Like in Oephilias case, she thaugh Hamlet love d her, but the cruelty of the truth let her to insanity. Hamlet used her to kille her father. He also told us that mother-song realtionships are not always like this one. Him & his mother kissed allot & it was sick, Idont understand if it was the the time in the century or the era.
With out "Hamlet" I dont think we would have ever learned about this. Hamlet was a great play and it taught me allot about plays and the writers. Hamlet's life was allot different, but we read + watch the play and it helps us learn about the Era's past on. Things you learn from Hamlet will stick with you forever.
