For my own peace of mind...

I have reserved this section for myself, Tricia Sauers-Dickerson. For the record, what is written here should have no reflection upon the Polish Falcons Nest 123 or the Board. I am writing this from my perspective on the events that have taken place in the Club since May 15th, 2004. I have never quite had the opportunity or platform to voice my position in all of this and have taken it upon myself to do so here. It is entirely up to each of you to continue reading at this point, it is your choice. Several employees at the West Corporation (my other employer) got together with me to throw a bowling party at the Club. The party was booked one month in advance to the event. On the evening of the party, Rob and Bunny Grygier went into the private party and took it upon themselves to check ID of the guests. They also told the guests to leave the bar area when they were only trying to order drinks. These guests, by law, were entitled to order drinks and it is the bartender's responsibility to check ID. A few of the guests from the party had decided that they wanted to join the club. They decided that they would come to the Club on Thursday nights, the night that I bartend. On one occasion, Bunny and Rob made the comment that they don't want "Blacks" in the Club. The comment was made in front of three of my "white" guests.   Since that night, rumor had it that the Polish Falcons was turning into a "Black" Club. Out of these ten guests, two were African American females.   On another occasion, Dave Shuttle, Norm Wrobel, and Rob Grygier were at the Club when these same ten guests were present. I was not aware of the by-laws or LCB regulations and did not realize that I was unable to serve/sign in guests. I asked Rob Grygier for his assistance and he shrugged his shoulders, I asked Dave Shuttle if there was a problem, he walked away. Norm, being a former Board member offered no input as well. These people were present in the Club and could have advised me at any time. They didn't. A couple of weeks later, they got together and filed a petition against my mother and I for violating Club by-laws and LCB regulations. I feel that they were all in a position to correct the situation and deliberately did not do so.....as a means of getting rid of my mother and I. The petition failed due to the fact that it was not handled appropriately. Also, on previous occasions, guests who were not signed in have been served with no questions.....(Norm Wrobel's Freeze Dried Dance). A rule such as this should be applicable to ALL guests, we should not pick and choose.
     Since that time, Bunny and Rob found it necessary to call West (my other employer). I was removed from my position at work by Security Guards and escorted to the front office. My employer requested that I have these people stop calling and harassing them over the party that took place on May 15th. They used the Nest 123 name to represent themselves when making these calls. All of these calls have been recorded and documented by the West Corporation.
      Unfortunately, my husband is incarcerated, it is also unfortunate that as a result, I have a criminal record due to his crime. I plead guilty to a case that was filed against me so that I would not stay in jail until it could go in front of a jury. Other than that, I have a charge for "bad checks or insufficient funds". Sue Waite made the comment that I should not work at the Club because all I do is steal credit card information. That is not true. These are not my charges. Bunny and Rob Grygier called my probation officer with the intent to get me fired or put in jail so that I could not work at the Club. My probation officer is well aware that I work at the Club.
       Without offering more details....I have been harassed endlessly by these people. Hurtful comments have been made to me and about me. Dennis Helinski made the comment that I rigged a particular drawing at the Club one Saturday evening. I could not rig it, as I am not the one who pulled the number. I made a sarcastic remark at the Club to Judy that she needed to tell the winner of the drawing (Kelly Rogala) that she owed me a tip since her number was drawn. We all make wise cracks about the drawing. It was a sarcastic remark and that is all. Kelly Rogala is not a personal friend of mine. She is an acquaintance through employment.
     All of this has been blown way out of perspective. This chaos has done nothing except hurt the Club financially. I am ashamed that our Club members can be so cruel and spiteful towards eachother. These are grown adults acting like kids.
     I've heard it's members make the comment that they do not want to come to the Club because of the Hall Rental. You should all be glad that we are able to rent the hall out to "African Americans"....if it weren't for them....you wouldn't have a Club. If you would have been coming to the Club in the first place, there would not be a need to rent the Hall out. The only time members seem to come together anymore is when there is some sort of controversy going on. I very rarely see National Members, it's the Social Members who come to the Club. The Club is meant to be a "Clubhouse" not just a business. It's not up to just the Board to make this happen.
     I'm sure that many people may not agree with my methods, however, my intentions were never anything except to promote business inside the Club so that it could operate. I apologize if I've offended anyone, that was not my intent.
