BENEFIT PLAN FOR RETIRED POLICE OFFICERS

Pensioners Association of Ontario
The PPAO has entered into an agreement with Sun Life Insurance to provide a
Health Benefit Plan for retired police officers. The plan is available to
everyone regardless of age. No
medical information will be required if you join between March 1, 2008 and April
30, 2008. After that date you may still join but will need to supply medical
evidence. Information packages will be available for mailing by Feb.20, 2008. If
you do not have a plan, or wish to compare plans, you may order an information

(Paul Bailey was the
President of the Police Pensioners of Ontario and he put together this health
plan package for any police officers who may not have coverage after age 65, in
the case of Metro pensioners most of them have a better plan that was put in
place in 1982 and is part of the health plan used by active members However some
may not have any coverage at all after age 65 )
