Story: One of the best anime I have seen, it is an OVA that tells us the story of Kenshin when he was a kid. Being an orphan, he is found by a samurai master after a thieves' attack. He joins him to learn the ways of the sword until he becomes an expert. He then leaves his master to find his own destiny and achieve his ideals. Going in the opposite direction than what he was teached and kills people. One day, a young woman gets in his way and in a manner becomes the most significant part of his life.

Action, adventure, samurai ethics and a romance story make this anime absolutely great.

Animation: Great work, much better than the older TV series and some scenes that use real life motion. Very good and smooth. 

Sound: The voice acting is great and the music comes in interesting parts. 

General Critic: It is only 4 episodes, since it is an OVA. It definitely can be seen by someone who doesn't even know what Rurouni Kenshin is and it's slow pace at some points make it even more atmospheric. It is a great work in all parts.
