Story: A boy, named Monkey D. Luffy, wanted to be a pirate since he was a small kid. Back then, the great pirate that gave him the straw hat that he wears all the time, saved his life. When he reaches the age of (about) 16 he goes on a big adventure to become the greatest pirate with a crew of... only himself!!! After some small adventures he teams up with some of the strongest people, including the head-hunter Roronoa Zoro and the kicking-chef Sanji. His dream is to find "One Piece", the legendary treasure that the pirate king left in the most horrible place of the earth before he died, in the Red Line. Many dangers await him in a harsh world where pirates kill for treasures without hesitation. When he was a child, he ate a "Gomu Gomu Fruit", a fruit that gives him the ability to stretch himself as he wants to. He is a rubber man and this is what will make him be the strongest in combination with his strong will! 

Animation: The visuals are quite unusual yet wonderful. The drawing style is very "distinctive" and people are much too weird. This is wonderful because it makes the One Piece's world very special. I would characterize it as "full of fantasy"!

Sound: The sound is also very nice and you will love it. Since it is a pirate-based anime, you will usually hear wonderful sound of the sea.

General Critic: I think that, even if it is not too serious, there will be very few people that won't like it. It is one of my favorites.
