Hikaru No Go:

Rating: Animation [16/20]
           Sound [15/20]
           Story  [18/20]
           Addiction Level [20/20]

Story: This anime is based on the wonderful game of GO. It is an ancient Japanese game that is very famous amongst the world and you could say that it is the Japanese chess. One day, the main character who is a 15 year old boy visits his grandfather's place to find something valuable to sell for some money. When he finds an old Go table, he awakens a spirit of a Go master that slept inside it. He quickly becomes his friend and lives inside his mind while guiding him to be a master Go player. In the beginning, Hikaru is not much interested in the game that will soon become his reason to live.

Animation: The overall production values must not have been too high. We see not much special effects etc. in the anime but this is what it is.

Sound: Not something great but quite good. The voice acting is what I liked.

General Critic: Its story itself and the superb game called GO will make you want to see all episodes in one day. The characters are also realistic and the whole atmosphere gives a seriousness to this anime that can REALLY teach you GO. Most people will like it... It does not exaggerate but is realistic. It just shows us the world of GO players. Now, if you want mechas and magic spells you should check something else. Generally, I suggest that you see it. It is one of my 10 favorites.

Midis: There are 3 midis in the midis section.
