Story: It sure is difficult to review such an anime. Why?  Because, it's very simple. To be more precise, Azumanga Daioh has to do with the daily life of some high school girl students. Sakaki the cool athlete, Osaka the forgetful and slow-paced girl, Chiyo the 11-year old super-genius and so many other interesting characters. In this anime we watch some events of their school life such as the sports-festivals and culture-festivals and also their summer and winter vacations. They always do something extremely funny... and the viewer ends up laughing on the floor... This anime has also no hard-to-think themes so it can be very suitable for every age, but that doesn't mean it's an anime for kids. This is for teens and older due to the humor it has. Also, I must say that this anime is based on a manga strip and that's why every episode is divided in 3-5 smaller...

Animation: I could not give a high score to the animation. There is nothing special because of its genre. I should say that the scetch is clean, the colors and backgrounds are wonderful and everything blends with each other to give us a very good mixture. The animation is *simply* fine.

Sound: There are a few background themes that make the story move on flawlessly but I didn't find anything special. The opening theme is weird, but you may like it. The voices are great and give personality to the characters.

General Critic: If you are searching for a (very) funny, special and "easy" anime, choose it! You will definitely like it.
