Animatrix:

Rating: Animation [17/20]
           Sound [18/20]
           Story  [15/20]
           Addiction Level [16/20]

Story: Animatrix is a collection of 7 short-anime that take place in the world of the Matrix. Some of the most well-known anime animators and directors come together to complete this wonderful work. Each story has a different theme but all of them show us something that the movies didn't. Animatrix is made of "The final flight of Osiris", "The second renaissance" Part 1 & 2, "Detective Story", "Kid", "Beyond", "Matriculated" and "World Record". Each of these is written by a different author with the help of the Wachowski brothers. I should notice that "The second renaissance" tells us about how did the machines conquer the world, "The final fight of Osiris" and "Kid" are on a way connected to the movies and the others are just stories of individuals.

Animation: Not only is the story of every piece different from the other, but also the art of everything has its own identity. The authors wanted to distinguish every episode by blending their own style in it. The more "anime like" work was beyond, "The final flight of Osiris" is CG, while "World Record", "Matriculated" and "Kid" are not quite anime-like.

Sound: Nice sounds and music from the composer of the Matrix movies. Nothing great to it though. The voice acting is good, since this was a nice production.

General Critic: It can be considered as a useful addition to the trilogy while it is not necessairy to be watched. Now, if you are a fan of the Matrix and you like animation, you should watch it.

Midis: There are no midis in the midis section.
