We have been involved with Alaskan Malamutes since the spring of 1999, when we got our first malamute, and our first show dog. I started researching the breed in the early 90's when I fell in love with the dog who lived across the street from us.
In 1999 when our puppy was 6 months old, he was entered in his first show, and my first show, and I have enjoyed conformation showing ever since. I love it.
We now also have a horses, named Diesel, and one named Northwind. Diesel is a tobiano Paint, and Northwind is a Morgan cross. We hope to do many fun stuff withour horses. We would like to try penning, and other fun stuff.
Our kennel name "Polarice" became official in February 2000, when it was registered with the CKC.
We are members of the Alaskan Malamute Club of Canada, , and the Canadian Kennel Club.
