Polar Poetry
Welcome to my collection of random poetic and comtemplative messages...
"Gentle Falling Snow"
The gentle falling snow calms the soul.
Restlessness yields to tranquility.
Consider the things that warm a young man's heart.
How fitting is the comfort of feeling cold.
"Heart Struck"
What is this pain that lies in my chest?
If not love, must it be the absence of love?
I ponder if my mind can tell the difference - between happiness and pain.
Perhaps, just maybe, they were meant to be, planned to be - the same.
Either way I am heart struck. Befuddled.
I no longer know whether my actions consitute a joy or pain.
It is something we must face - again, and again, and again.
"Give Me A Chance"
Give me a chance to live
Give me a chance to give
All my life for you.
"Sweet Fidelity"
Oh how you taunt me,
With your red hair and blue eyes.
That smile on your face seems to invite such warm tidings.
And still - all I do is watch from afar.
I see the way you stare at me -
With hopes that I take note of your beauty.
But would you still give me that same soft touch
If and when I come to meet you?
When you look in my eyes you know you are of one mind and body.
I can only feel the same.
The struggle to meet with you is almost too hard to bare,
But I shall hold on.
For the sake of sweet fidelity.
"A Maidens Portrait"
A gentle young maidens portrait;
How lonely it settles there.
Detail of her beautiful face;
Envelop her lips and hair.
Reminded I of past love;
Of memories that we share.
Better to remember youthful times;
Forgetting pain I cannot bare.
"The Small Things"
I respect the small things -
The smile on your face
The glimmer in your eye
It feels so beautiful
But I can't tell why
And then - I remember it's the small things
That really make life grand.
"Paradise"
Take me in your paradise
Let me see the wonderful things you see
Take my noble heart away
Let us be the marvelous things to be
Next to you I truly feel
Why life is so beautiful
What do you see - I wonder
Is that paradise the same
The same that you see in me
Take me in your paradise
So that we may be - one.
"Fairy Tales"
Do you ever live in fairy tales?
Wandering in a world outside of your own
You echo the voice of other dreamers
Voices that wish just as strongly
That one day, some day
Fairy Tales will come true.
