Polarfox Central
It's spring time, in the meantime - I'm not thinking about girls
Yay! The sun is out and I'm trying my hardest not to get twitterpatted this season. I need to concentrate on my studies, but I've already noticed that the girls on campus are wearing shorter outfits as we speak! Heheh... Lot's has happened since I've updated this site. I've moved to Xanga for my journal keeping purposes. It may be less or more effective depending on how you look at things, but I'm definitely intending to restore this site one way or another.
Feel free to post in the forum!

How Would You Describe Polar Fox?
Recently I have posted a new desciption of myself under the "About Me" tab in my profile at TheFaceBook.com. After a few friends of mine commented that it's not like me, I came up with the experiment to find out what is "like me"? Through AOL Instant Messenger, I polled a group of people I knew and asked them just that. "How would you describe me?" My intent was to look for consistent traits that could ultimately describe what my core personality would be. Here's a list of how people described me:
very random
neurotic, obsessive-cumpulsive, squirly, figity, kindhearted, and generous
nice
kind, good-natured, welcoming, and caring
always willing to help people, attentive, friendly and open, always trying to make people feel included, and a good listener
cute, funny, uber nice, scattlebrained at times, innocent, good friend... if not fully aware sometimes, and always with the best of intentions
smart, viet, tall, and fun guy
easy going and stable
a happy go lucky guy, a child stuck in a college student's body, devoted to his faith, great writer and thinker, compassionate, serious and mature but has an inner child contrast, a true gentleman, and an admirable christian
very loyal friend, big headed but can't help it, very smart but pushes really hard and needs to breath sometimes, young and selfish, loves children, good person, talented, and friendly, but often absentminded when needed
So which description is accurate? Well I really can't say since it's not fair to say one person's thoughts of me are right while another's is wrong. It's better to think that these are all the possibilities of what kind of person I am. There are some obvious constants - most of them positive since my friends are so nice. The lesson to be learned here is that no one person is ever going to have the total picture of who you are. Sometimes, you just are. Sometimes you want to believe you're consistent with the traits that make up your personality, but it's common for people to believe only some traits versus others. If you think about it you present yourself differently to everyone. Some people are friends, close friends, aquaitences, family, or strangers. Most of the time you'll know who you are though. It's up to you to go off of what you believe, or what other people think. It seems complicated, but it was a fun experiment.
