Alright you lucky lovebirds. You've happened to run into one of the best when it comes to romance advice and what better plave to fall in love but the Magic Kingdom. Although I can't say I've ever tried any of this, I guarantee that a lot of it applies. I am a hopeless romantic after all.
Princes
So Prince Charming, you've taken her to the Magic Kingdom. Now what do you do? It is important that you are aquainted with what kind of person your date is. Is she full of energy? Very reserved? By paying attention and observing her patterns, you'll be on the right track to stealing her heart. The most important thing is to be interesting and charming - just like a Prince should be. It'll be easy, especially with Disney on your side.
Testing The Water - Literally
If you are starting early in the day, you'll have the best access to Disneyland "E-Ticket" rides. Mention a few such as Splash Mountain or Indiana Jones. If there's a positive reaction, then head for them! Screaming is a great way to break the ice. (Note: the newly installed logs at Splash Mountain no longer have lap seating. Sorry guys. The Matterhorn however, should - as long as its current renovation hasn't changed that.) If however she seems to be a slower paced, enter Fantasyland through the castle and have a starter conversation on the way through Main Street. Once there, many of the "dark rides" are slow whose seating provides a good amount of privacy - for talks.
Sit Closer Together Now Mates! Arrrrggg!
Disneyland's thrill rides offers a lot of opportunities to get your date to hold on to you - granted that she's in a mood to. If you're "dying" to be embraced, check out the Haunted Mansion. It's scary enough to be spooked, but mild enough for your manliness to handle. If she doesn't get close right a way, give her some mild hints that you're available for her to do so like "I'll be right here if anything happens to pop up at you," or for a comical line, "I get a little freaked out in here, is it alright if I hold onto you?" Hopefully, you'll only be joking. Unlike Pirates of the Caribbean or other mass seating thrill rides, The Haunted Mansion seats you two snugly in a "Doom Buggy" where most of the time you are encased in your car and invisible to other riders (except maybe in the seance room).
Places To Wake Sleeping Beauty - Stealing A Kiss
It can be understandable that when around thousands of other people, dates can feel uncomfortable with showing affection in public. A nice place to sneak a kiss is in the dark caves of Pirates of the Carribean. Timing is everything!
When You Wish Upon A Star
Night time at Disneyland is beautiful. If you're there in the summer or winter, take time to enjoy the nightly parade by cuddling up at a parade route bench. It gets kinda chilly in Southern California. Memories of viewing the parade and fireworks on past visits can spark a new appreciation for experiencing it again with your date. There is always magic at Disneyland.
Princesses
OK gals, the new independent world has given you a lot more power including leading a date. The problem is that sometimes your independence scares guys away. We admire your charge and leadership, but act ditsy and go weak at the knees sometimes and humor us. Even though you're pretending that we're strong and tough - who's to know the difference? We're only guys right? Disneyland is a fun spot to hang out for a date. It's ok to be a little playful and keep him on his toes. You're the master manipulator - it's a perfect chance to find out if he's really the prince for you. Who knows, maybe he's your dream come true.
Taming The Beast
More often then not, you might be with a guy who's not as energetic or outgoing as you like. Most of the time, it's because he is being conservative and is not sure what kind of relationship he is looking for. That, or he's incredibly shy. If he's acting stubborn, make sure you let him know who's boss.
