Web site tracking review

The web site is great. Prior to sign up you can review all features "as is". When you do sign up there are no surprises, the features worked as shown in the demo. The web site is fast, the code to place within your web pages is simple. There is an ignore feature to block your own IP addresses hits so you can view your own pages during development without worrying about inflating your page counts. Excellent, excellent so far... Free under 250,000 hits.

Who I DO NOT recommend:

There is very little information upon sign-up at freewebcounter. Once you sign up you'll find the website unbelievably slow with the "Settings" option never worked the entire period I signed up with them. The service was free of course and did have some nice tracking but I found the website was down periodically and do know I missed web page hits because of such downtime. There may be an IP block/ignore but I'm not sure since I was never able to get into the "Settings" option so my own views logged as hits using this service.
