Track your critical files located on your personal computer.

Add each file you want to track into the file list. A pop up message appears if the size of the file changes by a percentage indicated by you, or if the file has been deleted or initialized. My reasoning behind this software is I would rather know right away if an important file was corrupted or disappeared on me rather than a few weeks or months from now. I'm more likely to have a good back-up of corrupted files if I know exactly at the time a file is corrupted. I have had so many problems with computers - my old HP Pavilion (now in the garbage dump somewhere) had to have its hard drive re-inited about twice a year! Add this program to windows startup so it will run every time you boot your computer. There is no charge for the critical file tracking software - it was not a difficult program to develope!

Upgrading this software to make it more realistic and possibly add a backup feature would be great as well (July 2008).
