Knowledge on the lastest and greatest
My experience includes mainly vb5.0 and vb .net 2003.
7/26/04 I think it is time to get involved with firewall development and pop up blocking. Old firewall project status web page.
8/04/04 My current focus is on development of a Payroll system, a second focus is to have companies available for a limited "free" use mainly for feedback comments, problem finding, enhancement ideas, etc. Payroll project status web page.
8/06/04 I just installed an update to MSN Money! It really messed up my investment history detail and I'm very disappointed. Before the installation I had a year to date loss of 1.8%, now after the upgrade the new software reports a portfolio loss of 30%. Add an investment tool to my "future product" list. I tried reporting this to MS however it drops MSN browser all together when I click install reporting - what a POS! I have a good framework available to work with portfolios so I'll use that and somehow I need to communicate with a stock quote service.
8/28/04 Began working on a dll component to generate custom reports as I find crystal reports is not bundled with my version of vb.net standard 2003.

7/18/05 Started work on Personal investment manager, there are screen shots here and there on this website of my development. Today as of July 2008 I'm still using the tool to track all my investments and another 600+ watch investments. I have enjoyed using my tool and working through its performance quirks at current.
