Disclaimer: I'm too tired to come up with a good disclaimer. I own a can of Sprite and you can't have it!

Warnings: Swearing. Whoa, after the first chapter the warnings list just seems so empty!

"Name and race?" the demon asked, looking dispassionately at the tall man standing in front of it. The tall man just growled, his long black hair bushing slightly, like the hackles of an angry wolf.

"This is a Saiyajin sir, hes a lot stronger than most of the others and we had a bugger of a time catching him!" another, larger but seemingly younger demon informed his superior.

"Im Radditz, son of Bardock! You cant hold me long!" Radditz bared his teeth at the demons, pulling at his restraints.

"We have no intention of doing so." the first demon pushed his glasses up on his nose and looked up at Radditz from his seat at the desk "Youre here to make a choice."

"A choice? You didnt offer me much of a choice before! Straight to Hell, the guy said! Ill show you people Hell!" Radditz tugged at the annoying manacles that sucked his ki and kept him from breaking out of them.

"Well you get a choice now." the demon with the glasses remained strangely calm as he spoke, though the other demon was looking very fidgety "Its quite simple, you have a chance to be cleansed."

"Cleansed? The fuck do you mean cleansed?! Just let me out of these chains so I can kick your ass all the way to the other end of Hell!" Radditz tried to lunge forward, but the chains held him back and he fell forward onto his face.

"As I was saying..." the demon pushed his glasses up his nose once again "You can choose to either keep your memories and remain here, be cleansed and start a new life on the mortal plane, or a third option that you must have been fairly special to get, you can be partially cleansed and moved up to There. You said youre the son of Bardock? He was sent There."

"There?" Radditz pushed himself upright again and sat looking at the demon sitting at the desk "And my father is there? I meant to talk to him again..." Radditz sat in contemplation, his nose wrinkling slightly as he looked off at nothing in particular. After a minute or so he turned back to the demon "I want to go where my father went."

"Alright." the demon nodded and took a few notes down on some papers he had on the desk "Step through the green door and be on your way."

"Take these damn chains off." Radditz growled. The younger, larger demon jolted, then hastily set about unlocking the manacles and chains that restrained the large Saiyajin. Radditz walked to the door the demon had indicated. He looked at the door. There was nothing there except the door. No walls, building, just a door. There were more doors to each side, just there in midair. Radditz shrugged and opened the door to see a wide expanse of savanna spread out before him. He stepped through, intending to turn around and blast the demons before heading off to find his father.

The door shut behind him.

"Well, that was interesting. When was the last time a Saiyajin came through here?" the demon with the glasses took Radditzs files and set them into his desk drawer.

"Er... About seven years sir. There arent many left, not since the destruction of their home planet, only a few stragglers that were off-planet at the time.

"Yes, I remember that, we had some time getting Hell back in order after most of them got dumped down here."

"That we did sir."

He stood in the seemingly endless grasslands. He blinked. How had he gotten here? What was he doing here? Where was here anyways?

"Hey! Whore you?" a man with blue skin and fin-like ears waved from a distance away and to the side, where the other hadnt seen him at first.

"I dont know." was the most honest answer he could think of.

"Oh, youre a cleanse. Never can remember a damn thing. Ill call you Leo." the blue man grinned and took Leos hand, shaking it firmly.

"Leo?"

"Leo Panthera, the lion. A neat critter thats native to Earth. Ever been there? Oh wait, you wouldnt know." the blue man shrugged. Leo thought for a minute.

"I... Think I might have..."

"Well, thats moren most cleanses can say about their past. Im Jlkaol." the blue mans ears waggled slightly as he said his name.

"Jlkaol?" Leo repeated.

"Well, as close as you can come to it. Can you wiggle your ears? ...I thought not. Thats as good as you get then. Nice to meet you."

"Uh, yeah." Leo shrugged.

"By the way, time moves oddly here, so if anyone seems to know you here, it doesnt mean they died yet. Some might have died later and just happened to cross the same space/time as you. Its weird." Jlkaol rambled on about the way time worked for a while. Leo latched onto the one thing he could remember from before.

"I want to find my father."

"Oh, did he die before you? ...Not that it matters too much, but it does have some effect on your likelihood of running across him." Jlkaol cocked his head, his ears flapping slightly.

"I dont know." Leo shrugged again.

"Oh, of course you dont! Well, I suppose we just walk around and if he sees you hell say something, since you wouldnt recognize him."

"Fine." Leo grunted.

"...Are you Saiyajin? I didnt think they let Saiyajin in here anymore." Jlkaol blinked curiously at Leo, who pondered this for a little bit.

"...Yeah, I am Saiyajin." Leo nodded "And I wouldnt know."

"Cool! I never got to actually meet a Saiyajin before, brother never let me get close enough, says youre all despicable, but you seem nice enough." Jlkaol grinned "In fact, youre my new friend!"

Leo frowned slightly at this, but didnt say anything.

Goku ran along Snake Way on his way to King Kais, not really aware of the ever-so-faint tugging at the back of his mind that he should be going the other way...
