"What happened?" Goten asked on the way home, trying to break into Goku's alternating silence and mumbles of apologies. Goku turned towards his son and Goten's eyes widened at the lost look on Goku's face. "Dad..."’;He started slowly "Why? Why did you punch Vegeta? What did he do?" Goku looked down at his feet for a while, then turned to gaze out the window.
"He said he loved me..." Came the whispered reply. And the car went silent again.
