it wasn't all that bad. her family runs the gym, probably picking up alot of experience and tips from her sister and trainers who challenged the gym.And of corse, her favourite type of Pokemon was easily picked up during this stage of her life. ^_^

| For the first 12 years of her life, Misty lived at the Cerulean City Gym. Indeed, she is one of the Gym leaders there. Not much about Misty's past has been mentioned in the Anime, but I'll give it a shot. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| When she was young, she obviously wasn't really a 'Sensational Sister'. Misty was the little runt, without a set of Princess Dolls to call her own.She got hand-me-downs from her sisters, and was probably picked on by the three. | I suppose you could infer that Misty was the out cast, and did'nt perform in any of the synchronized swimming acts her sisters preformed. | Our 12 year old heroine comes from Cerulean City, where she and her sisters run the Cerulean City Pokemon Gym. She is very different from her sisters, who are, like, the Sensational Sisters. They like, prefer to perform rather than battle, so like, they just kinda like, gave Ash his badge. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| When she's not busy beating pepole after they challenge her for a badge (she isn't somebody who likes losing her battles. ^^;), she hangs out with her 3 buddies, Ash, Borck and now Tarcey. She met them preety much throgh accident, when Ash "borrowed" her bike, and destroyed it in the process. They eventually becae friends, who critique Ash's Pokemon battlle's, ect, and care for him.
