| Soon after Metapod evolves into Butterfree. Ash released Butterfree during the Butterfree mating season. butterfree found a cute pink Butterfree to mate with and they flew off into the sunset. Ash was really sad. | ||||||||||||||||

| Ash's first catch was a Caterpie! Caterpie seems to take a liking to Misty, who totally rejects it. After Caterpie saved the day, Misty started to think it was cute and reached down to pet it. At the same moment, Ctarpie decided to evolve to Metapod, totally blowing the moment. Misty is grossed out again. | ||||||||||||||||
