| We first see Squirtle in the epesode called the Squirtle Squad where Ash first encouters Squirtle. From what I understand, Ash, Misty and Brock are being held prisonner by a gang of Squirtles who were terrorizing the town. Team Rocket appears and Ash and the Squirtles team up anddefeat them. The leader Squirtle decides to loin Ash on his journeys. |

| Squirtle doesn't have any problems obeying Ash. He does basically just what Ash tells him to. In battle, Squirtle can use the Water Gun technique to spray a forceful foam from its mouth. Or it can use the Bubble technique to slow down an enemy. | |||||||||||
