| Gary Oak - Gary is Professor Oak's grandson. Gary is always one step ahead of Ash. He often comes back and taunts Ash and tells him what a loser he is. That just makes Ash feel bad and want to try and beat Gary even more. He's not very nice, much much worse than Misty! I like to think of him as the main villain of the show. He claims to have caught so many Pokemon and earned so many badges, but he never shows any proof of it. Professor Oak - Professor Oak is Gary's grandfather. He always trues to encourage Ash to do better because the others are always two steps ahead of him. Professor Oak is just basically a guy who checks up on Ash every so often to make sure he's doing ok. We don't see him on that many episodes. He takes care of the Pokemon Ash sends him because he can't carry more than six at a time. Nurse Joy - Each town that has a Pokecenter has a Nurse joy. Joy's job is to heal sick Pokemon that are brought to them. Pokecenters are like hospitals for Pokemon. All joy's look exactly the same. They are all related to each other. Some have different accents. Officer Jenny - Each town that has a Joy has to have an Officer Jenny. Jenny's job is to break up fights, stop Pokemon thieves, make peace, you know, basically doing good. Jenny's are much like Joy's. They look the same, they dress the same and they have the same job.
