| James is the son of a very wealthy family. James ran away from home when he was younger. He also left behind his Growlie in a later episode but tells Growlie to stay behind to watch over his family. James is probably the more cowardly of the two. He's really wimpy and whiney. Whenever Jessie or Meowth comes up with a plan, he always seems to be the one who wants to chicken out. While saying the motto, James often brings out a rose.
