Emerald Screens

Here are some screens from the famous sequel to Ruby & Sapphire!

Emerald Screens

This is the Japanese Box Art

This is Emerald's Title Screen.

This is Brendan & May in their new outfits & in small sprite form.

You will encounter Team Magma & Aqua in several places such as Meteor Falls.

You will also encounter Team Magma & Team Aqua at the Space Center in Mossdeep City where they didn't appear before.

Archie and Maxie are both around when Groudon & Kyogre awaken.

We get a cut scene showing the awakening of Groudon & Kyogre.

Kyogre & Groudon fighting in the field. They may be able to be captured, just like in R/S except they are both in one game.

This is the known as the Battle Frontier, one of the new areas. It's a Theme Park for Pokémon Battles. There are 7 different Battle Arenas.

This is the 1st arena known as the Battle Dome. It's a tournament consisting of 16 people.

A tournament consisting of Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, and Finals are what you need to complete to become the Champion.

You battle in an actual arena. The Pokémon and their levels are currently unknown.

This is the 2nd arena known as the Battle Tube. It's shaped like the Pokémon Seviper.

There are 3 doors you can choose to go in. They could either lead you to a person who heals your Pokémon, someone who wants to battle, or a very confusing maze.

Someone who inflicts damage on your Pokemon.

A confusing Maze!

A battle against 2 Team Aqua Members!

A card that gives info on the next Trainer you are battling in the Frontier.

Pikachu is shown doing its animation.
Looks like Pikachu is ready to fight.

Ludicolo is shown doing its animation.
It sure likes to dance, huh?

A new area you have to go to to be able to use the new E-Card set for Emerald. This shows the inside of the building North of Mauville City.

A new area in the Battle Frontier called the Battle Factory.
Trainers are tested on there true skill.

Here, you are given 6 Pokémon to choose from.
You choose 3 and battle with them.

Here, you battle with the 3 Pokémon you chose before.

After you win the battle, you are given the option to trade one of your rentals with a rental of the trainer you just defeated.
You can create a good & powerful team with this feature.

Another new area in the Battle Frontier called the Battle Arena. A new contest where you are judged on your battling.

You are judged on the heart, moves, and body. And if you Pokémon is greater then your opponant's, you win.

When you are judged the following marks are given: You are given a red circle if you are better, a blue triangle if you tied, and a black X if you're worse.

A new character named, Enishida, who follows you around and meets you whenever you complete a gym.

Possibly a new Gym Leader for Mauville Gym. Remember, in an upcoming episode, Wattson leaves the gym. This could possibly be his grandson or another relative of his. As you can see the hair style of this outline, it is almost the same as Wattsons. And I do know, it's obvious that the type is electric.

A Call Feature has been added to the PokéNav. The G/S/C Games had a Call Feature in them, but this time around it may have many other uses.

This shows Brendan answering his cell phone. It may have it where he can have a say if he wants to answer it or leave it to a voice mail.

This shows the stat page of the new Deoxys form which is based on the Speed Stat.

This shows the Speed Deoxys against a Raichu and it is using the move Extremespeed.

In the Battle Frontier, you get followed by a Bug Catcher. He's sort of like your Apprentice. He wants you to help him train and he follows you some places. He will sometimes ask you questions about Pokémon also.

Sometimes your "Apprentice" will ask you to show him your Battle Strategy in a Battle against him.

Sometimes you will go in a 2 VS. 2 Battle. It will be you and your student against two other Trainers. You will have to help him plan a strategy so he can win battles and continue on to be a recognized PokéTrainer.

A new Building in Hoenn that strangely replaces the Contest Halls, called the Battle Tent. Maybe its an advancement of a Contest Hall?.

The Battle Tent has a lobby
where you can change Pokémon,
talk to people, and battle others.

In the Battle Tent, you have standard battles, battle factories, and battle trades. More information as it comes.
