Pokémon Trading Card Game Fire Islands League: ex-Mantle
Before Blaziken burned the skies. Before Tyranitar reigned supreme. Back in the days when Lugia and Ho-oh were only legends...There were 8 gym leaders in the Fire Islands. And they reigned supreme with these Pokémon. Welcome to ex-Mantle, the RBY Generation of Power.
This page contains any erratas for any cards within the EX-Mantle set.
2/198 Bergstrom's Snorlax: Poke-body Aggravated Snoring reads "If Bergstrom's Snorlax is Asleep, you may use its Tumbler attack as if it weren't Asleep." In other words, this means that you may attack with Bergstrom's Snorlax, but you can only use the Tumbler attack (you cannot retreat, use Couch Potato attack, or anything else you can't do while Asleep).
26/198 Charstar's Charmeleon: Slash-n-Burn reads "If the Defending Pokémon retreats during your opponent's next turn, the new Defending Pokémon is now Burned." This effect only applies if your opponent pays the retreat cost (in other words, if your opponent used the trainer card 'Switch', Slash-n-Burn's burn effect does not apply).
33/198 Gio's Jolteon: Electric Pickup reads "Flip a coin. If heads, the opponent is paralyzed." This pertains to the opponent's defending pokemon, not the opponent himself.
37/198 Marleon's Seadra: Card is numbered as 38/198 with Rare symbol. Should be 37/198 and Rare Symbol.
38/198 Marleon's Seaking: Card is numbered 77/198. Should be numbered 38/198.
42/198 Morpheous's Exeggutor: Nuclear Eggsplosion reads "This attack does 100 damage to all Active Pokemon (including Morpheous's Exeggutor)" and has a base damage of 100. This attack only does 100 to the target Defending Pokemon, not 200.
69/198 Gio's Magnemite: The last part of Electromagnetism reads "Regardless, discard one Basic Energy card in order to use this attack." This should be phrased as "Either way, discard one Basic Energy card from Gio's Magnemite in order to use this attack."
199/198 Venustoise: Evolution text reads "discard the 2 corresposnding pokemon from play when you play this card from your hand". This card can only be played if those 2 pokemon are already in play, as either your active pokemon or as one of your benched pokemon, or both. Also, all cards and damage counters on those 2 pokemon discarded this way are also discarded/removed.
