There were originally 12 Titans. The ones that concern today's lesson are Phoebe, Coeus, Hyperion, and Theia.

In mythology, Hyperion (the original sun god) and Theia (not sure what she was the goddess of) had three children. They were:
*         The Sun God: Helios in Greek mythology, Sol in Roman mythology
*         The Moon Goddess: Selene in Greek mythology, Luna in Roman mythology
*         The Goddess of the Dawn: Eos in Greek mythology, Aurora in Roman mythology
