Notes on Chapter Four: Time to Shine
- Oh come on now, you were expecting Celeste to be the Solar Sailor. But her true significance is yet to be revealed. Don’t worry, you’ll find out her relationship to Queen Serenity next chapter. Also, I liked how Mercury finally had an attack that was worthwhile. If there had been bets on to who would defeat Banana Slug, I doubt that many would have been on Mercury. Sorry Mercury fans, but she is, in my personal opinion, a fairly weak character. I hope to make her a stronger character in my series
- My life is in danger, for as I was coming up with this episode, I came up with two massive ideas for two more seasons in addition to my planned four. Oh yeah, sorry about taking so long, but this episode first had to have all the transformation details worked out, then the attacks, then I had to sit down and come up with music to complement the story. And of course my computer at the time was messed up, cause my net access is limited big time. Oh well. The actually writing of this episode feels rushed to me. Oh I know the 36 pages doesn’t make it seem that way (I’m not kidding, this episode is really 36 pages worth, including the html coding stuff). Did I mention that I’ve noticed that each episode is longer than the previous? I’m going to try and interupt this pattern, cause I don’t want readers to threaten my life.
- The whole Annie rumor thing actually wasn’t planned out, but just happened to develop. But I’m perversely proud of it. Annie is a virgin, and thinks of Warvus as a lovable younger/older brother. She still fears him in a way. Iris is a lesbian. It is a weird coincident that she is homosexual and that Iris is the Greek goddess of rainbows; it just happened to evolve this way. The name is actually this way because she is aka Firefly, and both have ‘ir’ in them. But I like Iris. I wasn’t planning on her to be a significant character, but I’m thinking her part might be expanded. Snail is just an idiot, a flake, lazy; basically what will happen to Serena if she doesn’t grow up soon (joke). Fauna loves the Monarch in her sick way, and isn’t exactly bisexual. She tends to sleep with guys, but is willing to be with women. I tried to keep this clean and vague, figuring a lot of you have sicker minds than me, but this is the evil society here. The Evolites are primitive in this way, they sleep around a lot. Oh yeah, Vickie is straight, but doesn’t mind women. She wouldn’t go out and choose a female partner, but if it happens to be beneficial… let’s just say Vickie has little shame and dignity.
- One thing I have got to say. Celeste isn’t me, she isn’t the me I want to be, she isn’t my idea of perfection, nor my idea of what a senshi should be. Celeste shares several facets with me, but then again, so do all my characters. I have a broad personality and that is how I write, I put a little of me in every character and emphathising certain aspects. I’ve noticed that a few of my villains are senshi taken to the next level. Snail: Serena; Annie: Amy, and I’ll probably inadvertently do this with more characters. Tell me whether or not you like this. Feedback is good.
- One thing a really despise about the series is that it always seems to take Sailor Moon to defeat an enemy, no matter how small. I’m trying to push that down to a minimum
- Celeste’s cold feeling around Hotaru will eventually be explained, but I’m too zonked to do so now.
- This title signifies Warvus’s performance, Annie getting her wish gone wrong and being introduced to the wrong kind of attention, Celeste becoming a senshi.
- I still like Iris. I have nothing for or against homosexuality, and Iris is still a part of the Evolite society, where wavering preferences isn’t looked down upon
- Those of you who have been waiting for some action to happen, I hope you’ve enjoyed this episode/chapter. I’ve been trying to get the action amped up a little, but my fanfic isn’t something I did one night while I was bored. I have put lots of effort into coming up with the villains, the overall plot, the individual one time characters. So this is suppose to be big, and hopefully it is living up to everyone’s expectations. PS- Sorry for making this one episode so long, but I had so much to say that a lot of this stuff wouldn’t work for the next chapter. But hey, you gotta admit, this was a pretty cool episode. =^ D
Hoped you enjoyed the first four chapters of the Solar Revolution. Keep reading =^ D
