this is my cheats page: pokemon cheats that ACTUALLY WORK!!!!!!
the unlimited item cheat:
First you must have the surf and fly abilities, then talk to the old codger
in viridian city and say no so he catches a pokemon. Once he has done this fly to cinnabar island and
surf on the coast near the gym (right hand side) until you meet a pokemon called MISSINGNO. kill or run
away from it and the 6th item in your items will have a funny little symbol next to it. This means that
it is over 100 (there is about 200). The best things to do this cheat to are; master balls, Rare candy,
pp ups, hp ups, carbos, calcium, protein, iron and tm's(like fissure, horn drill).
the duplicated pokemon cheat:
First you must have two pokemon (a crap one i.e. rattata and a good one i.e. mewtwo)
lets call the crap one A and the good one B, ok now trade A for B in the cable club's
trade centre and when the screen that says "Waiting..." disappears the person who got
A switches their gameboy off. if this cheats works both people should have the B pokemon.
the catch pokemon over level 100:
do the procedure outlined in the unlimited item cheat, but say yes to the old fart then no,
then fly to cinnabar island and surf near the gym (on the coast) and you could find absolutly
anything there, I found a level 132 mewtwo, 147 Alakazam and 129 ponyta. My friend got a 138 snorlax,
149 golbat and 153 gengar. So anything is possible I.E. you can't catch alakazams or gengars anywhere.
The phantom PC cheat:
This isn't a cheat but is really cool to show off, ok First you must have bills PC and be in Celadon city
go to the hotel, and go to where the pc usually is in a pokemon centre and push A.
I'm sure there's more cheats, e-mail me if you know of any i don't have, and please no ridiculous codes, i know a lot of them.
Gameshark codes for pokemon red/blue:
0115d8cf = catch a mew
01**d8cf = replace ** with any hexadecimal number (0-9,a-f.) but save before each one as some may cause your game to freeze.
please ignore any cheats that tell you that you can catch togepi or pikablu as they are all FAKE
