plotline. Well here's how it goes: Britney and boyfried get out of cab, are harassed by papazzi. Inside the hotel they're both pissed off, he's kicking boxes and turning over tables whilst they're argueing. Britney throws vase against a mirror and gets into the bath, where she finds her wrist is bleeding (see below. They must have cut out the cutting part. Originally it was going to be pills apparently.) she slips under the water and the next thing we see is a woman dieing on the bed in a hospital whilst Britney in a white shirt runs down a white corridot singing her song. The boyfriend mean while, pulls her blueish body out of the bath and an ambulance takes her away (check out the bloke trying to get dead britney's autograph!) Then there's a birth, and apparently the video's meant to be about reincarnation so how can she say it's not about suicide seeing the above evidence! It all ends ok cos she wakes up and gets out of the bath, the red on her wrist appearing to be a cotton bracelet. It's totally stupid and no doubt some little 12 year old girl's gonna go top herself now because of this (HIM and Eminem have had to suffer this after fans, teenage boys, killed themselves and the parnts blamed them) It's an ok video, doesn't go with the song, but it's a bit icky for anyone who's sensative and not a nice thing for Britters to suggest, especially since in the video her reasons for suicide are breaking up with her bloke and too much fame! Quite pathetic really. |
