Cheap Beauty Therapies
Ned

People these days always want the latest fads and potions to keep their bodies looking better for a little bit longer. But then they get charged over the odds for minimal treatments which might not even work. So why not scrap that and try our cheap beauty ideas

1. Oxygen Blast: No need to go to top spas to oxygenate your
skin, oh no. Just tie your hair back, wind down the window and sit close to it as you speed down the road. In the country youll get blasted with lovely fresh air, but in the city this will be lovely polluted filth! Thats gotta be good for your skin, right?

2. Home Detox: Right for this youre going to need water, fruit and veg and a Sex and the City Box set. Lock yourself in your room (except for loo visits) with the DVDs to keep away from chocolate and caffeine, and drink loads of water, eat loads of watery food such as oranges and cucumber and youll be peeing out those toxins in no time!

3. Exfoliate: Dont waste money on body scrubs and loofahs! What you need is some vegetable oil such as wheatgerm, grape or almond, some salt (normal will do but crush down any sea salt or else youll be covered in scratches) and some essential oil to make the mixture smell nice. Rub it on and rinse off for a homemade body scrub thats free of colours and chemicals. Also getting sellotape and sticking it everywhere then peeling off will remove dead skin and surprise you at how much of it you have.

4. Foot treatments: If you cant persuade someone to massage your stinky feet then why not get some bubblewrap and fashion it into shoes. Youll be walking on heaven as the bubbles help your tired feet to recover, but change it often because as you walk about the bubbles with pop. Dont use them if youre planning to sneak up on anyone though!

5. Tired eyes: You can get eye gel for a tenner which is full of chemical crap to spruce your eyes up, but theres a better way. Cucumber slices or old tea bags which have been in the fridge are just as good, but make sure the tea was herbal so your eyes smell like flowers, not cold tea!
