| This is truely a topic I am not quite sure I'm ready to jump into. I could talk for days and days and even confuse myself but will try anyways. This is after all my view point right? Reincarnation is one of the more ancient ways of exploring life after death. According to Hindu tradition, you're moving up the ladder of reincarnation when you come bck as a cow or water buffalo. Basically reincarnation is the belief that the spirit or soul never dies, but rather after death, moves to inhabit another physical entity. Not only do paganism but both Hinduism and Buddhism accept reincarnation as a fact of life - and death - and shiite Moslems and many native tribes in Africa and North and South America include reincarnation among their beliefs as well. Those who can recall their past lives often remember them in striking detail. Some documented cases in India have been able to be verified because a few of the past-life relatives were still alive during the new incarnation. According to Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the current Dalai Lama is the 14th incarnation of Buddha. The Dalai Lama is the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism, and when one leader dies, his soul moves to a newborn baby boy. The search for that newborn is conducted through a series of traditional tests, and when he's found he is then groomed for his holy position. The beliefs in reincarnation vary with each tradition. Some believe that we can reincarnate as other animals, plants, trees etc. No matter it explains dejavu precisely! I believe we do reincarnate and I do not believe that time is linear. As for living two lives or more at the same time I have yet to make a decision on that:) I also believe in karma and the fact that we meet again in many lifetimes over. |
